Razon Jr. graduated from De La Salle University in Manila with a degree in Business Administration in 1981. He later completed the Advanced Management Program at Harvard Business School in 2010.
In 1987, Razon Jr. took over the management of the Manila International Container Terminal (MICT) after it was acquired by his family's company, International Container Terminal Services Inc. (ICTSI).
