President Rodrigo Roa Duterte presides over a situation briefing at the Provincial Capitol Guest House in Isabela as head officials from different government agencies and local government units (LGUs) report the effects of Typhoon Ompong in the province.
The provincial government of Isabela declared a state of calamity throughout the province.The Isabela Provincial Disaster Risk Reduction and Management Office (PDRRMO) also announced that no casualties were reported in Isabela, and the initial damage to the agricultural sector and infrastructure is estimated at around PhP 3.6 billion.
