President Rodrigo Roa Duterte checks the condition of the victims of a landslide that ravaged a village in Naga City, Cebu on Thursday (September 20) as relief operations continue.
The Chief Executive visits Enan Chiong Activity Center (ECAC) that serves as a temporary evacuation center for least 1,500 individuals, or around 400 families, of Sitio Sindulan, Barangay Tinaan after a forced evacuation was ordered by the Local Government Unit (LGU) of Naga City. The Department of Social Welfare and Development (DSWD) extends their assistance to those affected with food and medical aid.
Based on the latest information, there are 29 confirmed casualties. Authorities continue with their search and rescue operation as there are dozens feared trapped below the rubbles.
