President Rodrigo Roa Duterte together with the officials of the Armed Forces of the Philippines (AFP) and the Philippine National Police (PNP), meet some Islamic State of Iraq and Syria (ISIS) - Maute Group surrenderers at the Capitol Gymasium in Marawi City.
A total of 27 members of the ISIS-Maute Group surrendered to the authorities. Three of them receive scholarship and cash assistance.
In the course of the program, President Duterte also inspects a display of 2,649 loose firearms that were surrendered by civilians to the military and police through the facilitation of local authorities from Lanao Del Sur and Lanao Del Norte.
