President Rodrigo Roa Duterte extends the support of government to the poultry industry and to the people of Pampanga and Nueva Ecija whose businesses were affected by the recent contained outbreak of avian influenza or ‘bird flu,’ in a visit at the Heroes Hall of San Fernando City, Pampanga.
Department of Agriculture (DA) Secretary Emmanuel ‘Manny’ Piñol, Department of Health (DOH) Secretary Paulyn Jean Ubial, Pampanga Governor Lilia Pineda, Nueva Ecija Governor Czarina Umali, and other local government officials join the President in the program that aims to jumpstart the poultry industry in the two provinces.
