President Rodrigo Roa Duterte leads the launching and commissioning of the Philippine Red Cross’ (PRC) first humanitarian vessel at the Philippine Navy Headquarters in Manila.
Founded in 1947, the PRC provides quality life-saving services that protect the life and dignity, especially of indigent Filipinos, in vulnerable situations. The organization plans to use the ship as a landing vessel and rapid transport ship to deploy its emergency units in times of disaster.
